Undergraduate Studies Committee
One primary function of the USC is to serve as a liaison between the faculty and undergraduate students in the department. The committee reviews and makes recommendations concerning departmental policy and curriculum for undergraduates, addresses student concerns, and works to provide information on academic opportunities, graduate school, and careers to the majors. Each year, the committee sponsors a faculty-student social, a panel on career options with a BA, as well as other forums of interest to psychology students. Any issue that affects the students and the undergraduate program in psychology is of interest to this committee.
New student members are recommended by department faculty and appointed by the faculty chair of the committee each fall. Dr. Pratt is currently chair of the committee.
